Zowel de melodie als de tekst rolde er in één keer uit, doordat ik een bepaald gevoel zo intens beleefde, dat het er als een explosie uitkwam, in de vorm van een muziekstuk. Het gevoel dat ik op dat moment beleefde, was stress. Toen ik het liedje schreef, zat ik in een vervelende situatie waarin ik me onprettig voelde. De combinatie van verschillende factoren riep spanning op. Ik voelde een enorme chaos in mijn hoofd. Deze chaos kan vergeleken worden met een massa van stemmen. Het liedje gaat dus over stress en spanning, die ik vergelijk met stemmen.
