Verscheidene daarvan spelen in zijn geboortedorp: Drie kwajongens (1891): Een week vol avonturen (1893): De oude veldwachter (1897): De ezel van de bakker (1899); Jongensleven (1901); Drie jongens op een schip(1903): Toen ik veertien was (1904): In oorlogstijd (1906); Mijn reis naar Den Haag (1907); Van drie jongens en een vrijen Zaterdag (1910). Verder spelen in Zeeland: Het veerhuis aan de Oosterschelde (1888): De sasmeester en zijn pleegzoon (1889); Frans Naerebout (1890): De boerenknecht (1893); De ondergang van Reimerswaal (1896): 't Verhaal van den toren van Zierikzee (1898); Tusschen de roode en zwarte tonnen (1932); St. Nicolaas te Zierikzee (1935). Hoewel Stamperius als schrijver de mindere is van P.
