(? 1700 - 1750 te Vlissingen). Schrijver van gelegenheidsgedichten en een m.s. getiteld 'Het Geestelijk Schip'. Zijn dochter, Jacoba Baert, was gehuwd met Conrad Rutger Busken, apotheker te Vlissingen en grootvader van de bekende Busken Huet. Zijn dochter Jacoba Adriana (overleden te Den Briel 1841) was zeer begaafd. Johannes Baert had waarschijnlijk met de scheepvaart te maken. Het handschrift doet zich voor als het geestelijk testament van de auteur en schijnt af te breken met zijn dood. C.R. Busken wijst in zijn lofdicht naar vader Bunyan, die in zijn boek 'The Pilgrims Progress' zijn symboliek ontleent aan het reizen te lande.<br />
